If that wire on the hornbill is a tracking device it's not very safe...could snag on branches. :-?

:yes: Have seen some posts on Vulpro facebook with tracking devices for vultures :-? have to agree sometimes wonder how the poor birds even fly but they do and they thrive it seems -O-

So after stocking up at Berg en Dal we carried on around the loop .

It was still very hot and all we found was a bateleur on lookout

We drove all the way around to Gardenia ,it was so hot that this Hare did not even move

There where some residents in the muddy water hole .We spent quite a while with them as nothing else was moving it was quite an enjoyable time .
They were obviously very hot and this was the only water about .

We drove around the area where we saw the leopard but all we found this time was some bushes . =O:

the middle rugrat tried to convince us he could see something there -O- :no: 0- think the heat was getting to him .

We drove back to camp to start the braai .

The rhino looks very, very exhausted. Not only is there very little water, but it is also right in the sun :shock:
