You know we are getting very revolutionary against authority down here in SA! This is minor! Wait 'till I put on my red wig!

You'd better be careful! Toko is not here to defend you

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

Re: Richprins' Last Old Teba Trip 2011 - Interactive!
Anyway...butt is shrinking now...
Our unit!
First overnight ever in Mopane, and it was larney...sort of!

We were a bit overexcited, I think, but got a braai going, and it was delicious!
The one bizarre thing about that unit, maybe others, is that the kettle is placed on top of the fridge, at extreme length of the cable?
It is very silly, especially for a petite lady like SW trying to reach up there, and she burnt her hand quite badly spilling the boiling water trying to handle it. (There is no where else the kettle can be placed...(we looked!)
Ice was in abundance, and treatment was applied, so we were ok! But not nice...
Anyway, we carried on, and I may have got a bit raucous later...and broke a bottle...
Meanwhile, our neighbours were probably not impressed by this...an impeccable family from Gauteng, looking for peace and quiet...
Got a definite "hairy eyeball" the next morning, as BC would say...

And you know how it goes...you meet the vehicle at every sighting for the rest of the day...Murphy's law!

Q: Why on earth was Mopane Camp built without a day-visitor's area? And no, not just because it was regarded as a luxury camp!
Our unit!

The planner simply forgot about it.
