that make sense we tried to take a pic of the bird in flight and only got a blurr

Great sighting of the Falcon! They're so fast, when I took a pic of one sitting it was a blur!!

It’s been a few years since I last visited the Potholes. It still looks the same.

Nice start in the park, a distant cheetah, a crowded but good lion sighting and then the distant cheetah again. The park was very green in January.

The zebra having a roll on its back gave me a laugh. Malelane is a fair bit further from Marloth Park than Croc Bridge.

You seem to have found plenty rhino, we battled in that area to find 1.

Your 1st leopard has a shell and then a better cheetah sighting

A long drive up to Tamboti.

A baboon stole your toothpaste. I’m surprised the vervets stole the onions as I got raided at St Lucia camp site and all they left were the onions.

Sjoe, 6 cheetahs, that’s a big luck.

Great sighting of the Falcon! They're so fast, when I took a pic of one sitting it was a blur!!

we once had a great time during a termite emerging event with hundreds of birds including the falcons around but all we got of the falcons were a bunch of blurry dots when we tried to get pics of them .

BC we were surprised that the Baboons got through the defenses we setup .Wont make that mistake next month when we there again -this time we taking another new bod with oldest rugrats Girlfriend The Vervet sat in the tree above the tent eating the onion not sure if it actually liked it or was just showing us up that it had stolen something

The next day we packed the cars (Rugrats boyfriends mum had taken their bakkie to camp and then traveled with us in the bus around ) .We stopped at the tree and spent quite some time but alas all we got were lots of pics of a hole in a tree

At the Hyena den there were two cubs suckling .

Then after a bit some movement on the side and another very fat Hyena emerged from the bushes

It crossed the tar right by us and went to the den


An older cub appeared out to greet the new arrival .

As time was moving on we left to drive down the S36.This little duiker was hiding

and as we came around a bend close to Muzandzeni some movement on the side caught my eye ....

Quite a few hyenas in different sizes The big one is definitely pregnant

Did you ever, ever solve the mystery of the tail in the tree hole
I think, I would have gone nuts

Your photos keep being awesome. The colours are intriguing in most of them
(It's only in those dark conditions that they are not that lively and colourful... as it is for everyone )
