Ja, I don't think birds are the point of this exercise, as the dry season doesn't really make a difference. Also I don't have very long equipment... :-0

lake panic has too many disturbing people coming and going.

at sunset dam, as with the others, you are at home in your own space,

except perhaps nyamundwa which has the highest concentration of jeep jockeys in the world.

the benefit of sunset dam is that you can pop off to the loo to offload all the tea
