It's the same pack we saw last year October
Wow leopard on the S40
We have never seen any animals on that road

What a drive, Flutterby,
with many lions, rhinos, leopard and doggies - I cannot remember of a better one

The dogs are often seen on the H7 but a first for us.

I think this is the first time we've seen anything on the S40.
Ja RP, I think you can find leopards anywhere in Kruger.

We carefully made our way through the doggies and headed for camp. The light was fading fast and Mommo isn't keen on driving in the dark. As he rounded a corner he had to slam on brakes for a young ellie in the road, who flapped his ears and started towards us. We reversed quickly and then had to wait for the youngster to move.

We eventually managed to sneak past him but now had to drive at 50 to get back on time. A bit further on we saw something on the side of the road...more wild dogs!!

We slowed down but couldn't stop for any pics. We managed to count 5 before Mommo pulled away. These were almost certainly from the same Orpen pack.

Just before camp we spotted a jackal running around, and we made it through the gates at 6.02pm!
