The kitties were strays and very wary of people, but I think these ones are very well looked after by SO's aunt.

That was not a very nice part of the village, the rest was quite nice.

After all Agrigento is a tourist place, so it has to keep up to certain standards. Like all this kind of places avoiding the suburbs is better
"Gueli" is definitely a name with it's roots in Sicily

That's for sure!!

Just about every third person we saw in the village had our surname but weren't related!

There are Gueli's all over the world

A lot of immigrant were/are Sicilians. It has always been a poor "country".
