Ja I sat for a while close to the fence and admired their closeness and size it was actually quite special ;-) O:V

Yes found allot of resting animals obviously in the heat and drought they rest allot more ..0..

Yes would have liked it to stick around a bit but they really are not happy when they know they've been seen :-)

Ok time to get the bus going again been a bit hectic lately .....


So after the special night with the ellies we started off early .

Our first sighting was one of the unmentionables and a youngster .it had a nasty wound on its rump that looked like a road rash :shock:

They wer quite skittsh and crossed over the road and dissapeared into the riverbed .

An early morning Kudu greeted us by the side of the road.

And stopped grazing briefly to pose .

At biyamiti a Lazy hippo slept in the water

A crane and hammerhead were looking for their breakfast

And a ground hornbill found his .

A crane and hammerhead were looking for their breakfast aka A heron and an open-billed stork O** lol
