Re: Grietjie Private Reserve
Things have been slow here over the last two days. I'm just going to post a few bird pics, as my lockdown list is now at 106.
Fish Eagle...
Punk rocker of the bush, a Crested Barbet...
White-browed Scrub Robin...
Ring-necked (Cape Turtle) Dove...
That's all for now...

Re: Grietjie Private Reserve
Thanks everyone. Yes, I know I didn't post much last time, but hopefully today makes up for it.
First a few pics taken during the week.
These poor Impala rams only have one thing on the mind at the moment. It would help if the ewes were a bit more accommodating...
An Ashy Flycatcher taken from the stoep...
On my lawn yesterday evening after sunset...
I went on drive this morning and had a wonderful sighting, but before revealing that one, here is a Yellow-breasted Apalis this morning...
The cool sighting next...

Re: Grietjie Private Reserve
Right, time for a special sighting...
The morning drive started in thick mist. I didn't expect to see much, but fortune changed. I found this beautiful chap in the mist. I took a few photos and then the mist started lifting and I could get better shots.
Here he is licking his lips...
The 1000ft stare...
Finally, he got up and started moving. I missed the yawn as I was drinking coffee, then he was up. Time for a stretch...
He then came around the termite mound to see if I was still there, then disappeared again...
That was the end of an hour long Leopard sighting. Until next time...
