Hopefully it is nothing serious ..The Old matriarch and BOSS of the Rooiputs Lion population has been missing in action for about a month apparently .. When we saw her on 3 occassions in April she was in GREAT condition as the pic shows ...I am quietly confident she will be there in April again

On their way to the leaking water Tanks at Campsite 5 ..I came back on the Anti Clockwise road hoping to see Lions in that part of the camp area ..bang there were 2

Unlike the dry conditions this season ..last year this time the Kgalagadi had great rains and as a result by May there was grass everywhere..Took this Bull into the sun in a sea of wheatlike grass..TELFAST time ..Oh how I suffered with hayfever!!!
