After experiencing a bush fire first hand a while back, I understand the implications. Unfortunately the houses at Marloth are very close together. Hope the losses aren’t too bad and that lives, both human and other, were spared.
Sometimes it’s not until you don’t see what you want to see, that you truly open your eyes.

Regarding the culling, it looks like animals are being chased into enclosures and then let onto one of the neighbouring farms...helicopters did an aerial census recently apparently!

there has been a need to reduce the numbers for some time .Lots of politics about not culling and apparently someone got a court interdict to block any culling so I think the powers are trying to find ways around the court interdict be it to release them onto other areas then they can probably be culled or relocated from there . The biggest worry is that they may reduce the numbers too much or too quickly to overcompensate for the delays so hopefully there is a decent balance found .
