Beautiful scenery! Just out of interest, how much does it cost to cross the borders?

Thanks for commenting everyone. \O

No secrets were told Mel. ;-)

It cost me US$70.00 for a double entry visa and a further US$105.00 to get the car over on a double entry. We thought we had been scammed, but on checking, we seem to have paid the correct fees and were assisted by a friendly chap named Thebo. \O

Our journey along the Khwai river continued with good sightings of Elephants, including this gentle bull.

The scenery was still fabulous and made even more so with the presence of Elephants in the background.

Antelope were represented by a Reedbuck with fawn.

Red Lechwe Rams.

And a small herd of Tsessebe. Tsessebe are reputed to be the fastest of all the African Antelope.

There appeared to be a dominance battle about to start with two of the bulls, but one of the two backed down before any trouble flared.

Whilst a lone Fish Eagle took off from its perch to hunt along the river.

Unfortunately, all good things come to an end and we finally reached the main transit road after travelling this wonderful part of the World. We kept on South, heading for Dijara again. We stopped briefly at the Wild Dog den, but nobody was on view. The pups were in the den and the guard dog was hidden somewhere in the bushes here.

After checking in and buying wood, we set up camp and settled down to enjoy the evening. Little did we know then that the trip would start to get really interesting from here.
