Extract from diary of Section Ranger leachy:
Patrolled the length of the Luvhuvhu Bridge all morning. Nothing out of the ordinary. Disappointing news from Colonel Hathi. Rifle also broken again. Have ordered spare parts from Beira, but request denied due to suspicion of incompetence. Wll order from Mutare tomorrow. Mammals and insects apparently will not kill the pig. Will use reptiles from now on. Spotted nyala on way back to rangers' post. Strange smell in the air, will inform NASA again.

Oh, that it is!
But not unique...the two or three lodges in the area have pools...before all that we used to just have a "dip" in the river below the picnic spot!
