We drove really slowly up the H4-1 but besides the usual suspects not much was happening so we went onto the bridge over the Lwr Sabie at the H12 and just sat and watched the huge Buffalo herd in the distance for a while.

We turned around on the H12 and made our way back down the H1-4 and shot a couple of locals. [O]

Without very much happening we decided that a relaxing afternoon was required after the frenetic start to our trip so we headed back for an early lunch and I decided that just sitting on the tent verandah overlooking the river was what was required. \O

I could now see in full daylight where I banged my knee earlier in the morning on the pole rail as I walked in and swore at my stupidity as my knee was still a bit stiff. O/

I realized why the Safari tents at Lower Sabie were such a popular accommodation option, they may have become a bit tatty but the views were absolutely stunning and you really did feel that you were as close to the bush as you could get.
