Basically the question raised was photography in manual mode!!
This effort puts aside point and shoot behaviour, in fact could
instil a somewhat artistic behaviour in the photographer!!
If one can manage these practicalities of mechanical photography
then you will find yourself in a real world of imagery at your own
fingertips!!

May I make a suggestion in that professional photographers i.e. PRWIN, BluTuna, ExFem, Sprocky and others,put down what their camera settings were for each of their exceptional photos?
I notice that magazines such as Getaway etc do it in their Gallery sections.
I feel sure that this would be of great help to beginners like Joan and myself.

I will endeavour to put the basic camera settings on my pics from now on - luckily they are recorded on each picture otherwise I'd have to guess.
