Re: Wild Earth Live
Yes all dehorned I would rather see ONE fully untouched horned Rhino than 7 Mutilated Rhino. The Other locations on WE dont show their Rhinos Strange as any Pro Poaching Syndicate just has to get on the Internet

Re: Wild Earth Live
Phinda is very small and well-secured,Peter. No problem with posting rhino sightings there. The other locations are vast!

Re: Wild Earth Live
Dehorning Doesnt work as Kruger and Etosha found out . They are the Biggest Holders of Rhino on Planet Earth and have given it up long ago as Dehorning has proved not to have worked . At the Price of Rhino horn per Kg even a Stump is extremely valuable . So why are places like Phinda doing it still. They havent lost a Rhino in 4 years but its not through cutting horns off but rather huge security on a small area and great cooperation with communities adjacent to Phinda .. A Rhino needs its horns for protection in its day to day interaction with other Rhinos and to ward off lions etc and Tourism earns more money from guests taking pics of Non MUTILATED Rhinos
