Even if the beak looks a bit small in that pic, the markings are right for a red-billed quelea

Just caught up again here STF! More brilliant sightings... the rhino and lion antics must have been great to see, whist the giraffe from the hide is fantastic

DAY 7 - THURSDAY 13 OCTOBER 2016 - AFTERNOON.
After a short drive around and seeing nothing I decided to go sit at Mankwe hide for a while.
How I wish I had the Nikon camera with me as it can take shots at 1/4000 but the Canon SX50 can only take take at a maximum of 1/1250.
I am sure the following sequence of photos would have come out much clearer but here they are.
Two plovers hassling a fish eagle.
