0/* Wow looks like you got some rather nice accommodation in Marloth . ^Q^ Once you get used to the traveling to the gates (Malelane is also not too far ) ;-) its a nice place to stay . Sunsets in the area of Kruger are always somehow special-er ... lol

The accommodation looks stunning! \O But as you say, the mission of getting into the park every morning is what puts us off. :-(

Did you have many birds around?
Thanks Lis... it was a very comfortable place to stay. There were quite a few birds around although we were out a lot of the daytime so I think if we had been around by the house we would have seen more \O

Yeah the braai area was very cool - the seating was somehow made out of concrete or something like that. Very cleverly put together

Hey Roger! Yep we scored some very nice places in Marloth so it worked out well. We did do one trip in via Malelane but mostly used the Crocodile Bridge gate X#X

Hey Flutts 0/*
Ja was a bit of a mission at times but after a couple of days we figured out a schedule that worked for us \O

Our plan for our first day was to have a bit of a lie in and then explore Marloth Park in the morning before taking a trip into Kruger for the afternoon. The warthogs came back for breakfast and we had quite a few different families of pigs come around to say hi lol

The 3 Little Pigs lol

Once the visits were over, we went out in search of wildlife by the fence line - armed with walking sticks in case the lions popped out!

There was quite a bit to see along the river, including crocodiles, buffalo and a few goliath heron O/\

On the far side of the river we spotted a family of warthog and some impala milling around O:V

A couple of big crocs  and also the buffalo ;-)

When we stayed at Marloth we had lots of birds, giraffes, zebras, bushbucks, warthogs of course and a few others. We stayed for a month so some days were spent at home ;-)
