Drama Over Snared Kruger Lion
This has been going on all week...
Robert says they flew in staff which landed on the H10, which was closed for a while yesterday, and treated the lion successfully...

Now that's good news for the lion.Richprins wrote:... and treated the lion successfully...

Re: Drama Over Snared Kruger Lion
I think they survive if connected to a pride, and can attend kills?
Personally I think this ended up being a PR exercise, a very expensive one resource-wise, and often the animal would just be shot? Just my opinion...
Social media rules us now...a new frontier!

They use social media communicate with their clients, to push their products and agenda's, then complain when others use social media to communicate with them.

Ja, Rob...am a bit wary of social media myself, lots of BS and hysteria there sometimes in the short term, forums better in the long-term?

Re: Drama Over Snared Kruger Lion
Agree with comments about the use of social media all positive , but not liking the effects when the view is negative. UK papers all carrying story of snared lion, photos taken from back of lion's head show maggot infestation, good thing perhaps? as they eat necrotic tissue so wound is probably clean!
