The Smithsonian Institution is a group of 19 museums in Washington. 11 of them are found on the National Mall, the strip of land that runs between the Lincoln Memorial and the US Capitol.

The Hirshhorn Museum is not one of the Smithsonian Museums but is also found on the mall, and is one of the top modern art museums in the US. As art is one of the Brat's favourite subjects he loved the art museums, and at this one they were able to 'make' their own art. ;-)

Next was the National Air and Space Museum.

The Brat found a squirrel in the Mall. :-0

The US Capitol is the seat of the US Congress which is the legislative branch of the US government. The dome has been under scaffolding since 2014 for a restoration project.

How much time did the students get between all those museums?

I definitely like the art one! Great photos captures of the Brat. ^Q^

Fascinating, and good pics! Look like their public works projects also take quite a while!
