Thanks everyone! We used to live in SA on a farm, so SO is well able to handle 4x4's and we used to pull a baby caravan behind us as well. The Van Zyls Rus road will live in my memory for ever - stuck in the ruts by the middelmanetjie and facing a rather large cattle truck! Toko, We shall certainly check equipment thoroughly. Robert T, we were there around that time but probably a bit older than you all! NOW getting really excited
