25.12.2014

We went out through the garden and found a splendid morning with a blue sky, no wind and in the sun almost hot O/\ O/\

Image

5 km later we were in Cabana, which until a few years ago was only a fishermen's village, but has now turned into a holiday village :-( Being winter and holiday there were only few people around having a nice walk along the canal. Only a couple of bars open, so nice and quiet O:V

First catch of the day a little egret doing the morning toilette

Image

Next up a crowd taking a rest and a dry up after breakfast

Image

Fishing boats moored to the pier for the holiday

Image

A marsh sandpiper (I think) looking for a bite

Image

Lisbeth and Fa lucky enough to find an open restaurant having a bite. Fish and chips and fried dried codfish. €13.00 incl. 2 of the local cold ones O\/

Image

Last catch.... surprise, surprise a couple of hoopoes O/\ O/\

Image

Image

It was all so tiring that Fa has gone for a nap lol lol Must be the sun and the sea air ;-)
