That night there was a huge storm raging. It started with lightning. Then the winds picked up. At midnight we awoke from a very loud crack of thunder and at 3 am I woke up again as the wind was that strong that it sounded like a train in a tunnel. Now there were heavy rains as well. WOW what a thunderstorm – another first I was really hoping to experience one day but I did not expect it to happen in September. What a promising start to our trip.
