I think you have already noted there are a mix of KNP and Kgalagadi fanatics, but also lots of other interesting topics and travel tales on parks outside SA.Your lion sighting is so sad and in a way I am glad I have only seen healthy lions during our trip. On our last day in KTP last year, which was on the same day you spotted the lion near Melkvlei, we headed from Rooiputs to Leeudril instead of Kij-Kij or Melkvlei before packing up. We were in campsite no 4 and luckily the resident male lion did not came to say goodbye on the last day, but only greeted us on the first day.
