I like the way you think!

I should have withheld the Rock Hyrax and held out for WAY more $$$. I'm so easy

Looks like my link to your article didn't work

, can you please "fix" it for me, as my SO is clamoring for dinner, and if I don't sign off I'm gonna be abandoned and have to move in with you.

Night, night

Another really rare sighting seen is the banded mongoose. Also not on the list.
No pix from my side though as I wasn't the lucky one.

ExFmem wrote:Acacia Rat Thallomys paedulcus or Black-tailed Tree Rat Thallomys nigricaudatus (?)
These two rats are very similar in appearance and occur over much of the same range, but have been shown to be genetically distinct. Any further info. is welcome.
Have a look here, ExFmem:

So I think, we label the rat as Black-tailed Tree Rat (Acacia Rat)
Thallomys paedulcus
http://www.iucnredlist.org/details/6443/0
Taxonomic Notes: Thallomys paedulcus possibly represents a complex of several similar species. Further studies are needed to clarify the taxonomic status of populations currently allocated to this species.
