Lovely pics nan, but that looks like an owl, not a Martial Eagle. :-?

Since reading this thread I have tried my hand at photographing birds in flight around my garden.

None of our photos are up to the standard of those shown on this thread but Joan and I are learning all the time.

To start with the following are Joans pics of a Pin-tailed Whydah in flight at Rietfontein Nature Reserve.
Camera setting f9, 1/4000, ISO 500 on a 500mm lens. They have been heavily cropped and the exposure adjusted.
