A bit early for peaches :-? but I suppose that in a country with so many differences weather wise, you can find almost everything around the year ;-)

Crazy 0*\

I would like to get the SA mangos instead of the ones from South America. We get grapes, pears and other things from SA, when it is out of season here.

On our last day in Santa Elisabetta we went to the market in Favara, an agricultural town near Agrigento.

On our way back to the village it started to pour with rain...we actually had a lot of rain in Sicily, which was quite unusual for the time of year.

There are so many stray animals in Sicily. :-( SO's aunt feeds these kitties everyday. ;-)

At the house of another distant relative...very fancy having a pool in Sicily!

And they keep goats to make cheese.

Those kitties do not look like stray ones ;-)

Goat cheese is delicious and healthy

Maybe that village looks better (or rather less bad) with rain O**

Market looks nice though \O
