The Black-collared Barbets have left and the Crested Barbets are hanging around now!

And they have quickly become like pets...early this morning one of them was pecking on the kitchen window and I saw there was no fruit left so I put an apple out for them. A few minutes ago I heard pecking again. I saw that the apple was gone and when I went outside I saw it was lying on the ground. They obviously don't want to eat it there as the dogs might get them, so I put it back on the feeder! Such clever birds!
