No bother. It's going to be an interesting winter. The Sabie and Sand rivers were still flowing strong, but the dams were very low. I'll be in Pkop area at the end of the month, so will check what is happening there.
First though I have a trip to Madikwe this weekend....
Leachy was in the South last weekend, and reports a strange setup....no water in the veld, and dams dropping, but a lot of streams running? So groundwater (underground) still "pumping".
Now let's see the curator cope, this after dynamiting water resources,....
I can very well understand the management plan of these water resources
and the impacts that animals do have on the surrounding vegetation!!!,...
But to blow them up with dynamite,...no I disagree,....
Why not simply shut these water points temporarily, possibly for
future crisis times????
Besides the vegetation and animals, what about the caring financial
donor ship by individuals,..is there still some gratitude toward these
folks, That from a Sanparks point of view. It would almost, according
Sanparks that these individuals did them a disfavor instead!!!

This was one waterhole that drew my attention - does this school know what their donation looks like now?
Telkom ridding themselves of 4400 staff members,..
Perhaps Sanparks need to look into these matters,..
Yet with hotels in mind and purpose thereof, yah,
in total thy will have created 500 hundred jobs!!???
I ask from you,.. .gov, your real integrity behind this
privatization strategy????, and PDZ supposedly to assist
the local fraternity,...Sanparks you stink to high heaven
with rot regarding responsibility and socio- economics!!!!
