Re: Additional Units at Kiliekrankie & Urikaruus
After having stays some nights at Urikaruus and at two different units, I must say that I think that SanParks should rather look into revamping the existing units first before even thinking of building something new. That place is falling apart big time! And definitely not because of the lack of work done by the camp assistants. They do all they can with the little material they got at their hands. But you cannot replace broken flaps, ripped mosquito nets or arched worktops (caused by water) with old newspapers and plastics.

Re: Additional Units at Kiliekrankie & Urikaruus
Usual sanparks problem!
The ones who decide that it is time to cash some more money( the wilderness camps are very popular) know nothing about the state of the camps. Why don't they visit them before deciding to add units?
We have quite a few KTP visitors on our forum. I would propose to send a collective letter to the Sanparks board in view of the above and put all our names in the letter.
I know the result, but at least we will have done something.

Now they have picked up this on SANParks forum and the run is on to grab the bookings as soon as possible, even before construction has started
a definite indication should be given timeously on the KTP webpage,in order for guests to tailor their bookings accordingly.

Going there during construction would be ruining the holidays

They can only work between 9 and 12 each day when it's definite that nobody hangs around.

It will take the same time that it took to finish the road from TR towards NossobMel wrote:They can only work between 9 and 12 each day when it's definite that nobody hangs around.
