I don't think AW even existed back then...Ja, it did!

That night....more pain and suffering and an even bigger storm....but we were into survival routine, so no problem, and no more injuries!

Off to Klopperfontein the next morning!

Really very dry....

SW is quite cool about sitting at water points, but nothing was going to happen there, after the previous nights' rains...
(Now Flutts probably has pics of swarms of animals there that day!

Onwards!

And clouds gathering again...quite pleasant, actually!

Something one will not see often at all at this time of year, water in a stream at Pafuri!

And elephant at it again...they continue to destroy the bigger trees there as we speak!

Our first trip down the S-64...Nyala Loop...one of the most tranquil spots in Kruger, IMO!

These two were in a crazy fight, totally ignoring everything, and almost smacking the car!

The one had a horn missing...not a good idea to fight again, as the horns are ribbed for their pleasure, so to speak, so that they don't slide about too much and cause serious injury to the eyes and throat....

One-horn lost the fight, understandably!

Q: which road do you think the baobab pic was taken on?
