Amazing what you see in your backyard. I've never seen a snake but here in Stockport, 53 degrees North, there are signs spring is round the corner......

There has been a small population of Ring necked parrakeets in south Manchester for some years. This has slowly grown and now around my home, about two miles from their main roost, we see them often. They have displaced bullfinches as the main bird that strips cherry flower buds.
