A number of tsessebe were captured in the North and transferred to the Hlangwine rare antelope camp near Pretoriuskop, presumably as a safeguard should disease strike in the north. This was all the rage in the 80's and 90's, with eland sort of included in the programme, later Liechtenstein's, and lastly reedbuck, for different reasons!
All were released eventually, and all except eland hold on around PK, surprisingly!
