Love the yellow billed kite and at least they have started to work on the low level bridge near Balule O**
They finished repairing the bridge in November 2012 after the first floods. For some reason they did not open it to tourists but they did allow park personnel to use it... Then the floods came in 2013 and two years later they still haven't fixed it 0*\

Of course there are - a single, easily identifiable one would be too easy. 0*\

Day 5 Wednesday 13 November : Balule - continued.

Back at Balule, the next item on our menu of culinary delights was a Toko trying to ingest a dead bat. It gave up eventually because the bat was too big.

A couple of Grey Louries were having fun in the sprinkler spray.

I spotted this colourful beetle crawling on our fridge.

There was a tree near the boma that was attracting wasps for some reason. There were many Giant Black Spider-Hunting and False Mud-Dauber Wasps.

Toko is a master when it comes to identifying wildlife ^Q^

I tiptoed up to that tree to get those pictures, those Vader wasps are 50mm long and very scary!

I'm glad you think so! Your fave is still to come.... watch this space.

The bat isn't the last of the culinary delights.
