\O Will post as A. sp. only then.

I think I'll remove the "possibly" from my Lagria, as it seems more metallic than most I see. :-)

Hi all. Can anyone ID this found in our new home. Not a good photo but the best I could do with the normal lens.

Its wingspan was only 3cm - a small little guy. Kind of reminded of one of those old World War 1 mono planes. :-0 :-0

It's a Plumemoth (Family Pterophoridae)

Not much info available to ID them to species level, it is perhaps in the genus Crombrugghia

Stealthy Ground Spiders. Wandering spiders. Flat-bellied ground spiders
Gnaphosidae possibly Micaria sp.

Micaria sociabilis ( found in Europe and Russia - very similar looking)
http://eol.org/data_objects/5815445

Micaria species found in SA/Namibia:
Micaria beaufortia (Tucker, 1923) — South Africa
Micaria tersissima Simon, 1910 — Namibia
I can't find a pic of these two to compare.

0: I really know nothing about spider IDs, just matched the colors up to pictures =O:
