My first idea was 100% nonsense Image (at least I have an apt smiley!), it must be Gryllidae, Gryllinae ^0^

I agree, it looks very much like Lobesia but the species is anyone's guess. -O-

Not according to this list, there is nothing in the family for the Northern Cape -O-

giant stick insect Palophus reyi is recoreded not far from KTP
