Re: Restaurant/s closed for refurbishment?

Post by mouseinthehouse »

Why am I not surprised?

Due to the extent of the refurbishments of the restaurants in the Kruger National Park, SANParks hereby informs you as potentially affected visitor that the initial dates communicated for the opening of the restaurants in the Lower Sabie, Pretoriuskop, Satara, Olifants and Letaba Camps will not be met and is therefore extended.

Final dates when operations are expected to recommence will be communicated in due course.

SANParks appeals to visitors to be patient with this process as the end result will ultimately lead to a much improved dining experience in the Kruger National Park.

Please note that the shops will be open as usual.

In other words, they have no clue when the restaurant will be ready to re-open.

Was at Lower Sabie last Thursday, Friday and Saturday and there was nobody working on the restaurant.

Thanks, mith and Penga!

It is really pathetic, and symptomatic.

I think the closure of Selati restaurant and resulting court case sending SP to hell has got the franchises concerned...but only a small part of the delay...hopefully... 0*\

During the daytime there is a small coffee corner where you can buy some piea, but that is it.
When you do not self cater you have a problem.
You will need to buy utensils and make your own food.

Very poor service from Sanparks.
