Where Am I Sitting...in words! (Winner Continues)

Post by Richprins »

This is a quiz designed more for sketching a picture in words...no pics!

So you just say where you are sitting, stating the Park/Reserve first, and sketching the scenery!

You MUST give additional clues each day, should the answers not be correct.

As with other quizzes, one should wait 18 hours or so to give foreigners a chance before your FIRST response...after that it's ASAP! \O

The winner posts the next question!

To get the ball rolling:

Kruger...

I'm looking east, and see plenty of water, and some granite domes. The water is quite far away, but I hope to see a sable antelope come to drink!

Correct, leachy!

Mestel Dam is near Shabeni koppie north of Pretoriuskop, which is the view you get eastwards over the dam.

There is one of the few remaining parking spots with a bit of shade, and the dam is normally quite full but a bit far away.!

Sable antelope visit, but rarely!

Eastern Transvaal.....

At times I hear nothing, and then some water against the boat,

Birds making a nest in the dried out tree stumps that stand inside the dam, away from predators,

Cars racing past above, I know, my spot, is tranquil and not crowded

Boulders forming around me, mountain upon mountain, until it disappears into the distant.

Yet Class Captain monkey keeps watch over nature with a stern look.
