Fabulous photos BT. Great that the lion were still in the same area and you got to see them close up.

Yes, we hit the jackpot! BIG FIVE in the Pilanesberg!
After a while it got up and disappeared behind the rocks.
We moved on and in the river found a young Croc.
At Pilanesberg Centre, a Lesser-Striped Swallow.
And a Yellowthroated Sparrow.
And back at camp, some more bugs (just to disappoint RP).

The lion was pointed out to us by someone in the Mankwe hide.
Any leopard sighting is awesome!

It's never happened to us before! That was only our second ever sighting of Leopard in the Pilanesberg and sightings of Buffs are almost unheard of!Lisbeth wrote:The big five in Pilanesberg Must be something that does not happen very often
