We just rented a car in Cape Town that had an e-tag (and it was a CA registration not Gauteng). At most toll gates around the country there is a lane for e-tag users. \O

Sounds quite straight forward

I have noticed a lot of the cars Avis use are registered in the Eastern Cape.
Is that where their head office is??

You still see lots of those on the SA roads always driving very slowly and I think without A/C. They must have been made in SA and intended to be cheap -O-
