I hear grass noises, it's very early, I am peeping out the window, not easy through the mosquito net… wow we are surrounded by Springboks O/\
They sleep on the stony path in front of our tents and going back down into the valley they take advantage of grazing the taller grass around the tents. I go out, one more time, trying to make as little noise as possible, the photos will be better without the mosquito net ;-)

A Laughing Dove welcomes me as well as a Cape glossy Starling.
Springboks test their force.
A Scarab enters to hide between the boards.

This morning is sad, at least for me, it is the last day in the bush. We return to base camp, Twee Rivieren.
Goodbye waterholes, private areas… it smells like the end :-(
The time flies 0*\
We leave around 9am. We don't have much road, but as always it depends on what we will see.

Stop ..0..

something that I have been looking for a long time for Liz, since she was not with me for the previous ones… O/\
An AWC - African Wild Cat.
I move back. She doesn't see him, a few meters away, on her side, she has no more spirit for discoveries, that I can understand.
It was one of her wishes O\/
He is badly lying, it would have to wait a bit for him to move, finds a good place in the fork of the tree, or that he too, like us, moves to another tree, which would be a good opportunity to have photos of a moving cat

Always in the loop, in a large puddle a wildebeest drinks, Black-winged Stilts :-? still rather rare birds in a "semi-arid" park.
Apparently they are there with the family, where (did) they nest :-?

Further south, two lionesses and a male who follows them from quite a distance. It is "one eye", he is fine despite these eye concerns and his injury which seems to be better. He's crossing the road right in front of us, and I can see the injury.
