That storm was a real storm
I don't remember how come, but luckily nan and I were in the two different rooms, bedroom and kitchen, if not half our stuff would have have been ruined. The water was streaming in from everywhere, from the top, from the floor and through the windows. The accommodation was in a very bad state from the beginning, but of course the storm showed all the consequences from this fact
I dare not think what would have happened if we had not been there
As a cherry on the top, the staff the next day did not do a thing out of the ordinary. They did not even lift a chair or put something out to dry. NOTHING!! I was furious

First of all - you are forbidden to go to Italy, even if we were allowed to travel again. But with your condition you cannot risk any left over infected passing the virus on to you Stay safe!
And, yeah, should have been at Nossob for a night as well this time around I might have even enjoyed it
I agree on the spoilt brat
Love the meerkat shots And your "Christmas" baubles
And that steak is making me jealous. Such great quality meat from the Slaghuis
Oh, and we will have THE roesti at some point during this lockdown. Will report back

Re: Two "nanas" (girls) in the Kgalagadi
nice selection… for me, yes
very big storm... tropical storm, not for long but very intense... not a lot of tents can't support all that
in principe animals don't need waterholes, they is some natural ones in the dunes. Ofen they are empty the days after big rain (big rain, not storm)

Re: Two "nanas" (girls) in the Kgalagadi
No, not typical Kgalagadi… it was a very huge storm
I put down the chairs (to avoid water inside) and I can lift them again
As soon as the sun was back, I put outside all the stuff to dry it
There is about 15 tents, not enough people to run from tent to tent, and I think staffs (who live in Mata Mata) had problems with their places as well
