For the drive we entered at Croc bridge and went along the S25 our first sighting was a five legged elephant bull O**

A bit further along the road we watched the Martial eagle drinking at the water hole

Some Geese were having a bath of sorts in the water as well
Image

We came across some Vultures and then notice a large gathering on the river bank but we could not find a clear patch to see what they were all gathered to eat
Image

Image

We turned up the H5 and found this Zebra who was playing King of the castle with the others it was quite a bit of fun to watch .

and this youngster that decided that mom was a good pillow

We carried on towards Lower Sabie and Sunset Dam

Lovely eagle shot, Rog! [O]

That pan is great for viewing - pity it dries up quite quickly!

We arrived at Sunset dam and found this log floating around :

Image

A kingfisher was watching the water
Image

A heron was checking the reeds
Image

The kingfisher saw something and hovered then dived in and flew off
Image

We left and stopped in at Lower Sabie to refresh .We decided to drive down the S28 on the way out .

Along the way we found some paws sticking in the air
Image

We did not have time to wait to see if the flat cats would become mobile as it was getting late so carried on and got to take a photo of the front of the roller
Image

We found some more young Gnu's
Image

And a lovely roadblock sighting
Image

Image

And also watched these two with their entourage of Egrit followers
Image

We joined the queue of cars leaving the gate and got through just at closing time ...
