Re: Flutts and the Brat go it alone
14 June, Croc Bridge - Malelane Gate
We'd come to the end of our trip. We decided to head along the S25 and leave at Malelane Gate.
This was the only morning we had a proper sunrise.
This Verreaux's Eagle-owl was making a lot of noise.
Ellie crossing.
A lucky shot of a Harrier-hawk before it flew off.
When we got to the H3, there were a few cars stopped. There was a mating pair of lions but the bush was so thick it was almost impossible to see them. We then decided to take the S110 loop and found some buffs.
We hadn't seen any rhino during our trip and it was only on this last drive that we finally had two sightings somewhere along the way!!
And that was the end of the trip. We had seen lions everyday, cheetah, wild dogs and leopard, and some new birdies....a good trip in anyone's book, I'm sure!!

Was there anything at my mudhole, Flutts?
A nice sunrise, and one gets the impression you didn't want to leave and drove extra loops?
for this great report...it was a successful trip indeed!

Re: Flutts and the Brat go it alone
Lucky you! Enjoy.
Thanks for all your lovely comments Pumbaa.
Kruger is always good to us!
Nothing at the mud hole. Of course we didn't want to leave!!
Thanks harry.
Thanks BC. The Brat goes back to Italy in August (and I will probably go with him) so no plans for anymore Kruger trips at the moment.
