Re: Alien bush trip December 2018
I got up after my quick nap and saw the message on my phone that i must join the other aliens for a sun downer at the restaurant. For those of you that only knows the current restaurant setup at Mopani missed out big time because on our first visit back in 2008 the lower deck bar was operational and they had two waterfalls from the big rocks behind the bar.
They had tables around the perimeter and it was stunning. These days they don't use this area anymore.
This is the stunning bar area
The previous waterfall
It's so sad that an area like this is standing empty. Poor management if you ask me
We got back at our bungalow and my friend greeted us very friendly
Next day we will travel to Phalaborwa for some shopping.........

Have spent MANY hours at the "waterfall"...actually nice and quiet now that it is disused!

Yes. Would love to run that restaurant and bring that lower deck back to life. It’s got so much potential
