You could count on the wildebeest to still be in the same place!

Entertaining as usual! Had quite a few good giggles - for example about the airbag in the flap
God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

I ordered Gump to go and visit the little pan on the S130 near the tar road!
It was dry, but one can see the rain had fallen on the parking - ironic!
A nice close giraffe - on Gump's side again, but I had the hang of it now!
And a quick sweep of the Low-level bridge!
My side straight into the sun...

We turned around at the other end of the bridge, and quite strange, some sort of jacana gathering...5 of them together?
Then off to Sunset Dam to look into the sun a bit more!

I must say it was actually very pleasant, with the tea flowing a bit. It had been a successful trip in despite the Garmin screaming every now and then, and we were at our destination.
Nice light!
Then I noticed something through the binocs that I at first could not comprehend. It looked like a frontal view of one of those giant Galapagos tortoises. Maybe the light was playing tricks, but I eventually clicked it was the biggest terrapin in Kruger. The pics don't quite do justice, but one can compare the sizes of the croc and plover in the background?
Anyway - always something new!
