It will come, my pretty! 8)
Post Script Day 2:
I braaied no less than sixteen flat chickens to feed the masses! An exceptional feat, if I say so myself! Plus toasted sandwiches prepared by PW and Momprins!
So our little "kosbeurtgroep" (supper making group) celebrated accordingly!
RP: "Well done, people!"
Momprins: "The chicken was raw. How's Prinsadam's hand?"
PW: "Thish brandy ish delih..delis...delish...excellent!"
RP: "PA's hand is fine! A lot of ice put on the burn seemed to do the trick last night, mommy!"
Momprins: "Good. Now behave, and bring me some brandy for the shock!"
A LOT later...
Momprins: "So how's Prinswilliam's hand?"
RP: "Still bleeding...but most of the glass shards out!... :? "
Momprins: "What's wrong with you children?"
RP: "Well, I'm not a child anymore, for a start, you know! I'm a highly respected..."
Momprins: "..."
(Momprins has a devastating "..." :? )
RP: "It was his own fault for falling on his glass while using his hand to stop himself although his glass was in his hand and it was dark and I'm innocent and we put all the bandages we could find on and ointment and I'm innocent and he's also innocent and Prinsadam is also innocent and..."
Momprins: "Where's the nearest doctor?"
RP: "..."
Momprins: "Stop cringing...I thought you were a respected..."
Lady Fixit: "Don't worry, sis...he's fine!"
Momprins: "Good!"
RP: "I told you, mommy, and ..."
Momprins: "Relax, dear...I love you all...just don't YOU do anything to hurt yourself!"
(And she does! Love you too, Ma! )

Kibbel, kibbel, kibbel.....
it sounded so familiar, so true with our large family,
What a priviledge to still say : I love you Ma....... :)
It did bring in a nostalgic feeling... yet, thanks.

Once again...there is no balloon...
(Nice comment, Amoli! )
Day 2 Part 1:
Our first morning in Paradise, and a quick trip down to renew the addiction to Crooks' Corner!
Saw that the elephant hammering of the fever trees had not abated in my absence!
Then Closer and closer! (Always a tropical feel here!)
And...at last! :D
(Limpopo full! )
And the waterflow had undermined one of my favourite trees even further...but it still lives!
A lot of resident crocs!
PW: "Oooh! Look, crocodile!"
RP: "Yes! I'm glad you like them!"
PW: "What do you mean them? It's one far out in the water!"
RP: "No, that's a log! An understandable mistake! Shouldn't have any more misidentification from your side, don't worry! "
Then on down the river loop...ahh, bliss...
Then some VERY strange hippo behaviour...
These big ones were farting about among the bushes...about four of them, while others were in the water as normal!?
I have no idea what they were doing, but there were two babies cavorting about in the shallows under the overhanging undergrowth...if one can say that...on the far bank! Like dolphins they were, I tells ya!
PW: "Look! Dolphins!"
RP: "I think your joke is wearing thin, but funny, nevertheless... "
And then down to another loop, where we were visited by a shrike or something, and I could practise my bird photography skills!
PW: "Why do some of your pics have a grey stripe underneath?"
RP: "Err...it's my unique signature so they cannot be used by others! "
PW: "But can't others just crop..."
RP: "Oh! Look! Dolphins again!"
PW: "Where!?"

Re: Kruger - RP and Family up North....In Reverse!!!
So I spent the whole of next week to catch up with your TR.
The trouble with that is - in contrast to most other tales you cannot
omit all the comments. They are half the fun! -O
I'm seriously sore now in the tummy region.
Maybe I should see a doctor for that...
Tell me, how did your mum survive the three of you as little prinses???
Following all those conversations between you and each of your bros
makes me seriously feel for her... Hats off to her obviously strong nerves! :P
Anyhoo, definitely will have enjoyed this trip with you... Or something of the likes...

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.
