Tha day started with two handsome male lions near Babalala and ended with two playful lionesses on the Mahonie loop.
Both sides of Capricorn

28/29 December 2014 Sirheni
We had plenty of rain for our stay at Sirheni. Also wondered if we would get flooded in but all worked out good although not many sightings due to the weather.
But we did get this special - Sharpes Grysbok
Yellow Billed Kites

30 December 2014 - Satara
After Sirheni we had one night in Satara followed by 4 nights in Olifants. We did the night in Satara as we wanted to spend the day at Sweni Hide. Our drive from Sirheni to Satara took us the whole day. It was one of those Magic Kruger Days. First up we found our two lions near Babalala again. It was drizzling and they just sat in the rain. The dark maned one close to the road and the other one further in.

Re: Both sides of Capricorn
Between Olifants and Satara close to Nyamarhi there were a few cars parked off. We asked what was going on as we could not see anything
A leopard had killed an impala and was eating in the shade of a tree, very difficult to see, and her cub was hiding behind some bushes.
It was getting a little too busy for the the young leopard so she moved away behing some rocks while mother ate to her fill
