I'm all oooh and aaah over the tickly one and the tiny one. Could just them,

Re: Ups and downs in 2012
Thanks all for the feedback Sorry, I was quite busy during the week, but I try my best to get the TR rolling.
What would the park be without the beautiful impalas? I really like them and we always stop for them.
Especially in the warm morning light, their coat looks lovely.
We always watch their behaviour, as there might be a predator nearby. But not only the behaviour of impies is interesting. For instance we saw a buffalo herd on our way and they seemed to be nervous. So we stopped the car and waited. Suddenly the hell broke loose and dust was everywhere, Matthias managed to get this pic
This is the scene afterwards
The herd came up to the road and crossed it and we noticed that the little calf was injured.
Still we waited, as we were sure that the lion would follow the herd and try his luck again. Well, we were right, but some stupid visitors blocked his way , as they wanted a better view of him.
So the lion gave up and turned towards us and came directly beside our car before vanishing into the bush again.
