Well done with the Senegal Lapwing! As Leachy says, not a common sighting and I still have not seen one yet.
The rest of your are...
Yellow-billed Stork
Jacobin Cuckoo (I think)
Goliath Heron
Senegal Lapwing
Magpie Shrike
Great sightings and photos Harry!

Sometimes it’s not until you don’t see what you want to see, that you truly open your eyes.

Great bird sightings Harry.
The Cuckoo is a Levaillant's - striped throat & upper breast. Large crest. (Jacobin has an all white throat & underparts & smaller crest).
The mongoose is a Slender Mongoose - black tip to the tail.
Love the young Hippo pic.

Excellent sightings again Harry.
Love the Impala pic.
The streaked Eagle is an African-hawk Eagle, the brown one looks like a Wahlberg's.
The last Stork is a Black Stork - nice.
I'm sure the Woodpecker is a female Golden-tailed, but woul like to see the face and underparts more to be 100%.
You have had an amazing trip this time.

Hey, Harry!
Maybe put that pic of the people out of the car here?:
https://africawild-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=152&t=1165
I think the African Hawk Eagle is an addition to the Bird Book!
Great stuff!

Re: Kruger....Our adventure continues.....
Last day: Satara to Crocodile Bridge:
Our last day has come and we left Satara at 6:00.
I left about 15 mins after the kids and was 15 kms away from Satara when SO phoned and told me to hurry up as they just had a amazing sighting . First they saw Zebras very stressed and then a Hayena with a Zebra foal, then a Cheetah followed by Lions . Our take on this is a Cheetah caught a Zebra foal then the Hayenas took the kill from the Cheetah and then the Lions robbed the Hayenas of the kill .
Anyway I missed the drama but got some pics
Hayena with kill:
Robber Lion:
Wartie away from danger:
Ground hornbill:
We saw lots of Ellies on the road between Lower Sabie and Croc Bridge and at one point I had to reverse about 500m with the Caravan as the Ellies came from the bush and didn't like all the attention.
Monkeys behaveing strange, they all huddled in a group and the adult males rushed into a tree and inspected it asif there was danger hiding in it :
My new favourite camp...Crocodile bridge and last photo of my bakkie in Kruger as this was it's last trip to Kruger :
We set up camp and Bookworm and I went for a last drive to Lower Sabie and back...... about 5 hours
Tawny:
Giraffe:
Birdies at Lower Sabie reception:
Owls:
Wartie in Camp and the last animal of our trip:
So as they say all good things must come to a end and our trip was over and finished , somehow it was sad having to go home but now we had something to look forward to as we will come back again .
We had an amazing trip although I didn't have the pleasure to see a Leopard, but we saw 6 Cheetahs and lots of Doggies, birds and lots of other mammals that you don't usually see .We saw special sightings of Ellies behaving special and we saw huge groups of Ellies with babies, we saw newborn Impalas, Wildebeest and Zebra....all a first for us .
This trip was also the last time that Bookworm will be with us as a scholar, next time she will be busy studying to start her future and begin her own adult life , to my Bookworm thanks for inviting me on YOUR special trip to KRUGER I hope you'll remember me when you plan your next trip .
Lastly to everyone who joined us on our TT THANK YOU!!!!!
