We headed back along the H5 to the H4-2 and headed back to Marloth Park. On the way we spotted a group of cars on the S25, we guessed it was Cheetah and were correct !

Again it was sit and wait for a head to pop up, but always very happy to see Cheetah.

Not much to see of the lions and the cheetahs, but at least you did see them ;-) \O

Still nice and different, SN!

Ja, in summer the rivers don't produce that much...it's all about visibility in less-dense bush, and the Croc Bridge area provides that.

For the evening drive we took the S25, with the intention of doing the loop as follows – S25/S108/H5 then H4-2 back to Croc Bridge.

The Cheetah was still in the same spot on the S25 but lying down, so we did not stop and carried on, about halfway to the S108 we came across Wild Dogs.

There was a group of about 10 cars with the dogs. We could see that the dogs were about to move, so quickly did a U-turn and faced away from the group… this led to some strange stares from the passengers of the other cars… but we were positioning ourselves in the direction that they were moving.

Then they moved, straight past us, after a herd of Impala.

The pack came flying down the road, we followed on the side of the road giving them full access to the road as we were hoping for a kill.

The other cars now realized that they were facing the wrong way and were desperately all trying to U-turn at the same time. As you can see from the pic below there was still not a car in sight

Looking back from the car you can see the rest of the pack of 19 following, we were right in the middle of the hunt.
